Joel Boblasky is the Republican Candidate for Chairman of the Chatham County Commission. His roots run deep in Chatham County - it's more than just a place where he resides; it's his home and his community.
As a fifth-generation resident of the county, Joel learned from his family and neighbors about the significance of investing in and protecting his community.
Joel received his education from both private and public schools in Chatham County, including Jacob G. Smith, Memorial Day School, and Benedictine Military High School. He then went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Finance from The University of Alabama before returning to Chatham County to start his commercial real estate career.
Joel has spent over thirty years working as a commercial agent and broker, serving as an unofficial ambassador for Chatham County. He has been instrumental in promoting the county's financial benefits for development and investment to his clients and visitors. With his expertise in negotiating complex leases and purchase agreements, Joel has proven his ability to work with multiple parties to achieve favorable results.
Joel is well-positioned to be our next Chairman, having amassed extensive knowledge about Chatham County's development, infrastructure, demographics, and growth projections.
As part of his duties, Joel intends to leverage his expertise in finance, negotiation, and commercial real estate to ensure the protection of our local businesses and residents.
